Does The Kiffness Have A Baby?

Satirical music composer, David Scott, a.k.a The Kiffness, and his wife, Jüte Scott, welcomed their baby boy, named Sam, in January 2022.

Scott said him and Jute were “beyond blessed” to be the parents of little baby Sam.

“Witnessing the birth of my baby boy is the wildest, most beautiful and proudest moment of my life,” Scott wrote on social media.

The Kiffness Early Life

The Kiffness was born on February 11, 1988, and started as a member of the KwaZulu-Natal Youth Choir.

He attended the Michaelhouse school and proceeded to the University of the Witwatersrand to study medicine.

He later dropped out of the sciences and switched to the department of music and philosophy at Rhodes University.

As a student, Scott, worked as a DJ and joined a jazz band.

The Kiffness Musical Career

The Kiffness’ first single “Where are You Going?” was released in 2013 and his album Kiff bagged a nomination at the 2915 and 2017 South African Music Awards.

Known for performing in his floral custom suit, Scott creates songs that are aimed at tackling South African political issues. One of such is his popular song, “White Privilege”

The year 2020, saw the Kiffness collaborate with Turkish musician Bilal Göregen in creating a remix of “Ievan polkka”.

In 2021, he came up with a song to help people with pronouncing the new names of Port Elizabeth, King William’s Town and Maclear which had earlier been changed by the South African government.
